What is OK to Board?

Passengers travelling with a photocopy of their visa may need “OK to Board” approval to be accepted for travel. Rules vary by sector and airline. From the Indian subcontinent it is normally required.

Mandatory for

• All customers with an ECR (Immigration Check Required) passport
• All customers travelling with a print-out of a Labour and Work e-visa
• All customers travelling to Muscat

Not required on (UAE visit visa)

• IX – Air India Express
• AI – Air India
• EK – Emirates
• FZ – flydubai

For other airlines, an OK to Board message is required.

How to update your OK to Board message
